Principal’s Corner

You will enjoy coming to the Principal's Corner. It is our way of bringing you a message from St. John Neumann's Principal, Sister Coletta. It is updated almost every week. So come back often to read it!

God has given us such glorious days. You can just imagine how hard it is to stay inside and work. I don't know what happened to the rainy days that are supposed to be in April. The students are so busy this month -- it's testing time. The testing program lasts over a week. It's hard for me to believe we are already in the 3rd report period. It take a lot of discipline to work hard and keep going when it's Spring outside.

We have so much going on these next two months. Our calendar is so full. The children are not the only ones with a full calendar. The parents have three more big fundraisers. I can't say enough about the St. Patrick's Day Celebration and Irish Dinner last month. Everyone loved it. The food was exceptional and both the kids and adults had a wonderful evening. We love our school and nothing is too big or too much to do for it. Our parents are the best. Don't forget to check the calendar.

Welcome to St. John Neumann Regional Catholic School

St. John Neumann opened its doors as a new entity on August 28, 1989. We are located in the Lawrenceville area of the City of Pittsburgh. Students come from Lawrenceville, Garfield, Stanton Heights, Bloomfield and Polish Hill. Our school population reflects a wide range of academic abilities.  No matter the level of ability, all students are challenged to do their best.

We encourage active parent/guardian participation, and through the convenience of our Web site, you can help become more involved with your child's education with us.
