Principal’s Corner

You will enjoy coming to the Principal's Corner. It is our way of bringing you a message from St. John Neumann's Principal, Sister Coletta. It is updated almost every week. So come back often to read it!

What a beautiful season we are in now. The Lord says, "Return to me with al your heart!" This is the season of Lent when parents and children learn what it means to grow strong spiritually. Prayer is so very important these days so we can be one with the Lord who gives his life so we can have fullness of life. This is such a busy time for our 2nd and 8th graders. We love to celebrate the Sacraments with them. You can tell we care about our Catholic identity. Alot of preparation goes into First Holy Communion and Confirmation. St. John Neumann, as a family, sees it as a privilege to share life with each other. God bless you and your family during this season.

Welcome to St. John Neumann Regional Catholic School

St. John Neumann opened its doors as a new entity on August 28, 1989. We are located in the Lawrenceville area of the City of Pittsburgh. Students come from Lawrenceville, Garfield, Stanton Heights, Bloomfield and Polish Hill. Our school population reflects a wide range of academic abilities.  No matter the level of ability, all students are challenged to do their best.

We encourage active parent/guardian participation, and through the convenience of our Web site, you can help become more involved with your child's education with us.
